Nice idea Talia and welcome back.

Niffer, from what I am seeing those ranks are not concerning the platoon leaders and 1SG.
But I also think we would need some flexibility concerning who leads which squad and such.

Talia, I will repost that on the main thread

Looks nice but the problem with these time zones is the you will need 4 month to get an Squad and mabye you have the abilitys to get one before.
i think these only shoud be guidance.

(I can't post in the section you guys have that posted in, so I'm throwing this here)

I had drawn up some basic plans for the conversion from honor to time back when I was S1.

This is a somewhat standard Army promotion chart.

Private (E-2) - 6 months (in service)
Private First Class (E-3) - 1 year
Specialist/Corporal (E-4) - 18 months
Sergeant (E-5) - 4.2 years
Staff Sergeant (E-6) - 8.5 years
Sergeant First Class (E-7) - 13.6 years
Master Sergeant/First Sergeant (E-8) - 17 years
Sergeant Major (E-9) - 20.8 years

Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW-2) – 2 years
Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW-3) – 7 years
Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CW-4) – 14 years
Chief Warrant Officer 5 (CW-5) – N/A years

Now clearly, those times are too long for USAT. So what I did was to convert years to weeks. So six months is half a year, so it would be half a month. So, as you see initially, there are a lot of smaller promotions are a person spends more time in USAT. Then things start to slow down a little bit, so each promotion becomes more meaningful. By the time someone is an E-5 Sergeant, they will have been a member twice as long as an E-4 Specialist and three times as long as an E-3 PFC.

USAT Promotion Chart
Promoted to x takes y time in USAT
E-2 Private – 2 weeks
E-3 Private First Class – 1 month
E-4 Specialist/Corporal – 2 months
E-5 Sergeant– 4 months
E-6 Staff Sergeant – 8 months
E-7 Sergeant First Class– 12 months
E-8 Master Sergeant/First Sergeant– 18 months
E-9 Sergeant Major/Command Sergeant Major – 24 months

Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW-2) – 2 months
Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW-3) – 6 months
Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CW-4) – 12 months
Chief Warrant Officer 5 (CW-5) – ?

My suggestion on what to do with Warrant Officers was to make those positions available only to prior service, so someone who is already serving or had served would be in that more technical slot due to their training and as a gesture of respect.
